A beautiful website that nobody finds, or that no one can use, or that quietly turns visitors away, is a very expensive brochure. We start somewhere different: with how your customers actually think, search, and decide. Then we design around that, test it, and stay until it is working.
That conviction has stayed the same since 1999, through every trend that arrived, got overused, and left. The tools change constantly. What makes a business win online does not.
The details nobody notices are the ones that decide.
The space between two lines. The exact moment a button reacts to a tap. Whether a heading is readable at a glance or just decoration. The half-second a page takes to load on a phone with one bar of signal. None of these are things a visitor consciously sees, and all of them are why one site feels trustworthy and another feels off.
We are hyperfocused on those details, because that is where trust is won or lost. It is slower. It is harder to sell than a flashy mockup. And it is the entire reason our clients' websites quietly outperform the ones that only had to look good in a screenshot.

Adam Inlay started designing websites in 1999 and founded the studio in 2008. The work runs through a small senior team and trusted collaborators, but the philosophy is constant: every project begins by understanding the business, and Adam stays your point of contact from the first call through launch and beyond.
No account managers to pass you around. No junior handoffs. Just people who care about the details, building something you will own and be proud of.
When he isn't at his desk, Adam is usually out on a hike in Shenandoah, a bike ride along the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Towpath, swimming in Lake Michigan, or running around after his toddlers.
